This recipe is a delicious and unique dessert that combines the creamy richness of coconut panna cotta with the tangy and unique flavor of sea buckthorn jelly. Ingredients:
Coconut Panna Cotta
1 cup heavy cream1 cup coconut milk1/4 cup sugar1 tsp vanilla extract1 tbsp powdered gelatin1/4 cup cold waterSea Buckthorn Jelly
2 cups sea buckthorn juice2 tsp powdered gelatin1/4 cup cold water
Instructions:
1. In a saucepan, combine the cream, coconut milk, and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved.Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
2. In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let sit for a few minutes to soften.
3. Add the gelatin mixture to the cream mixture and stir until well combined.
4. Pour the mixture into four 4-ounce ramekins or cups. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.
For the Jelly:
1. In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let sit for a few minutes to soften.
2. In a large saucepan, heat the sea buckthorn juice until it is hot, but not boiling.
3. Remove from heat and add the softened gelatin to the sea buckthorn mixture, stirring until well combined.
4. Pour the mixture onto the set panna cotta, and refrigerate for at least two hours, or until set.
5. Serve chilled and enjoy the delicious and unique flavor of sea buckthorn jelly.
Note: You can add agar-agar instead of gelatin as a vegan alternative.
