What data we process about you

General details

The website automatically collects certain general information and stores them in log files. This information includes the Internet Protocol (IP) address, the general location of your computer or device (city-level), the browser type, the operating system, the time of access, the link to the visited page, the page viewing history our website, device information, program views, device id (notifications and identification), timestamp, request / action. No personal data is collected during navigation.

Payment details

If you want to purchase an online product, we will store billing data such as: billing address; bank account number or bank card / IBAN code the name and surname of the bank account holder or bank card (may be other than you if someone else has paid an invoice in your name and for you); the date from which the bank card is valid; bank card expiration date.

Details for marketing purposes

When you subscribe to our newsletter we will store your email address. If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, please unsubscribe using the button in the footer of the page or by sending an email with the “unsubscribe” to our email address.

Who we share your data with

We will not disclose your personal data to third parties. We will take appropriate steps to ensure that your personal data is processed, secured and transferred in accordance with legal requirements.

How long we keep your data

If you leave a comment, your comment and metadata are kept indefinitely. This is how we can automatically recognize and approve all of the following comments instead of keeping them in a queue, for moderation.

For users (if any) registered on our website, we also store the personal information they provide on their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (but cannot change their username). Webmasters can also view and edit this information.

Right of the data subjects

- The right to rectify any incorrect or incomplete personal data;
- The right to oppose or restrict using your personal data;
- The right to withdraw your consent for processing processed consent data;
- The right to delete your personal data, in the case where you have withdrawn your consent, where processing is no longer required or is contrary to law;

- The right to withdraw your consent for consent-based processing. Withdrawal of your consent will not affect the lawfulness of the processing on the basis of consent prior to its withdrawal. In cases where you withdraw your consent, we will no longer process your personal data and take appropriate action to delete your personal data. We may, however, process your personal data if there is another legal basis for that processing.

In order to comply with the legal security and confidentiality obligations of our data, when exercising one of the rights you are entitled to as a person, we may ask you to prove your identity by providing us with a copy of an identification document or any other information necessary to verify that the request comes from the relevant target person.

We will take into consideration any requests or complaints, and we will send you an answer in accordance with the statutory deadlines. If you are not satisfied with our response or consider processing to be in breach of applicable law, you may file a complaint with the Romanian Data Surveillance Authority: National Authority for Personal Data Processing Supervision (ANPC) – located in Bucharest, Romania, Bd. Gheorghe Magheru no. 28-30.

IMPORTANT! Before addressing to ANPC with a complaint, please notify us so that we can resolve your complaint amicably.

Terms used

The supervisory authority for the processing of personal data: an independent public authority which, according to the law, has tasks related to the supervision of the observance of the legislation on the protection of personal data. In Romania, this authority for the supervision of the processing of personal data is the National Authority for Personal Data Processing Supervision (ANSPDCP). 

Special categories of personal data (sensitive personal data / sensitive data): personal data that: reveal racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious confession or philosophical beliefs, or membership of trade unions; genetic data; biometric data to uniquely identify an individual; data on the health, sexual life or sexual orientation of a natural person. 

Collaborators: Medical staff who have concluded a collaboration agreement with us and provide medical services to our patients. 

Personal data: any information about an identified or identifiable natural person (“the data subject”). A natural person is identifiable if it can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identification element, for example: name, identification number, location data, online identifier, one or more specific elements of the physical identity, physiological, genetic, psychic, economic, cultural or social status of that person. For example, the notion of personal data includes the following: name and surname; address of residence or residence;

Email Address; phone number; Personal Numbers (CNP) genetic data (sensitive data); biometric data (sensitive data); geolocation data. The categories of personal data about you that we process are listed above.

Operator: a natural or legal person who decides why (for what purpose) and how (by what means) personal data is processed. According to the law, the responsibility for complying with the legislation on personal data rests primarily with the operator. In your relationship with you, we are the operator and you are the target person. 

Entity: Any natural or legal person who processes personal data on behalf of the operator other than the operator’s employees. 

Target person: The individual to whom he or she belongs (which belongs to) certain personal data. In your relationship with us (the operator), you are the target person. 

Processing of personal data: any operation / set of operations carried out / performed on personal data or on personal data sets with or without the use of automated means; for example: collecting, recording, organizing, structuring, storing, adapting or modifying, retrieving, consulting, using, disclosing, disseminating or otherwise making available, aligning or combining, restricting, deleting or destroying those data personal / personal data sets. These are just examples. Practically, processing means any operation on personal data, whether by automatic or manual means.

Third State: a state outside of the European Union and the European Economic Area
